Hi baby, it’s me your Nanny, you can call me Nana Girl if you like,  I just heard you were here, Daddy rang me to let me know that you had were in Mummys tummy , I’m so happy.  Every time I thing about you I smile or cry, its half and half so we’ll call it a crile.  I can’t wait to hold you, I love you so much already.  Your Mummy and Daddy are scared, when they heard you were coming everything changed, it really got them thinking, they are really happy, just scared cos they want to get everything right.  It’s gonna be ok, I know it.

I’ve been expecting you, we all were, we just didnt know if you were gonna be a Luke baby or a David baby, we just knew you were on your way.  I went to see this lady called Marie, she is a clairvoyant, someone who can see things that are going to or have happened, I’ll explain more to you when your’e older, anyway she told me that you were on your way, so that’s how I knew and I told your Daddy and your Uncle David and when they found out you were finally here, they both said that’s the baby aye Mum.

As I’m writing this you’ve been growing for about 6-8 weeks in Mummy’s womb, and I have a very strong feeling that your’e a boy baby.  Mum and Dad have already given you your name, it’s a good one, named after your  Daddy’s dad, who was a man with a big kind heart and who everybody loved, he had a lot of friends.  It’s a good name and if anyone ever pronounces it wrong you put them straight because he always did!!  Haha.

Your little cousins are with you too, Aunty Kahla’s baby and Uncle Maia’s baby, we’re gonna be meeting you all face to face around the same time, it’s a good year for our family.  On my Dads side, your Great grand dad David, when someone has a baby, usually two others do as well, so you are doing your part to uphold that family tradition!  Talking about family traditions, my Nana on my mums side, which is your Great great grandmother, haha, I think I got that right, her name was Violet, well we always called her Nana Girl, and I’d love it if you called me Nana Girl too, it would be a beautiful way to remember her, but we can talk about that later, lets just get you here first!!

Anyway baby, I’m gonna be writing to you all the time until I see your little face, Mummy and Daddy live in Australia right now, it’s a long way from where I am so this is how I get to talk to you.  I love you little baby, I’m right here loving you and supporting you as you grow, getting ready for your big entrance into our world, take care little moko, Nana Girl loves you. xxx
